Pay Rate: $22.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM Sun 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, passengers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, waiting areas, entry points, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorized entry where required, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with crowd management, way finding, and traffic flow during peak travel periods, service disruptions, and special events while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
