Job DetailsPosition Title: Security Officer Licensed Patrol
Location: Seattle, WA
Job Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour
Schedule:
- Wednesday: 04:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Thursday: 05:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Saturday: 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM
- Provide customer service to visitors, riders, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, parking areas, entrances, waiting areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, assist with directional information, and support orderly movement of the public while following location protocols and post instructions.
- Communicate with local authorities, transit personnel, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, disruptions, and/or security-related concerns.
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
