Position Title: Security Officer Licensed Patrol

Location: Seattle, WA

Job Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour

Schedule:

• Wednesday: 04:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thursday: 05:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Saturday: 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, riders, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, parking areas, entrances, waiting areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, assist with directional information, and support orderly movement of the public while following location protocols and post instructions.
• Communicate with local authorities, transit personnel, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, disruptions, and/or security-related concerns.

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
