Summary

Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our Security leadership team as our Area Assistant Director of Security based out of the Grand Hyatt Seattle. The Area Assistant Director of Security will support our multi-property cluster comprised of Hyatt at Olive 8, Grand Hyatt Seattle, and Hyatt Regency Seattle.

The Assistant Director of Security is responsible for the oversight of safety and security of the hotel. This person will respond to guest and employee emergencies, complete incident reports and supervise the security staff. They will also be responsible for scheduling shifts, payroll, and overseeing the training program. This is an Assistant Manager level position, and will report to the Area Director of Security.

The salary range for this position is $80,170.00 to $100,800. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications, and education.

Qualifications
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Effectively balance a strong commitment to hotel security while ensuring a caring, service-oriented guest experience
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills (a written incident report will be part of the interview process)
  • (5) years or more of security experience preferred
  • Experienced leader with proven methods for developing, strengthening, and sustaining high-performing and high-engagement teams

  • Demonstrates a positive mindset with an eagerness to learn
