Overview
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Security Coordinator 4 to join our team in Palmdale, CA. The role focuses on maintaining records and supporting personnel security functions.
Roles and Responsibilities- Serve as a records maintainer and data entry specialist within the Personnel Security Team.
- Audit and ensure accuracy of documents within PERSEC files.
- Enter information into government databases with a high rate of accuracy, including SIMS and Excel.
- Handle electronic recordkeeping and corporate archival functions.
- Send and receive visitor information and process badges for long‑term visitors and customers.
- Perform other administrative duties as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of security or related administrative experience.
- Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years.
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Special Access Program (SAP).
- Ability to sit and/or stand throughout the day.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience working in an SAP environment.
- Working knowledge of the NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated positive working relationship with internal and external customers.
- Working knowledge of NG and government systems such as DISS, JADE, SIMS.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
$58,400 - $97,400 (annual basis). Salary determined by experience, education, and market conditions.
