Drone Operator
Join a dynamic Research and Development team dedicated to inventing and developing transformative experiences. As a Drone Operator, you will play a vital role in collecting data for drone algorithms, ensuring the success of autonomous drone delivery systems.
Responsibilities- Collecting data utilizing drone algorithm.
- Conduct block 30 night collections.
- Perform MLD collections.
- Support an autonomous drone platform capable of real-time package delivery.
- 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
- Minimum of 200 flight hours.
- 2+ years of remote-control pilot experience with excellent coordination and execution.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours with breaks.
- Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Detailed knowledge of basic computer concepts and troubleshooting.
- Experience leading small teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the year.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Microsoft MCSA/MCSE desirable.
- Additional vendor administrator level certifications preferred, such as Apple ACMT/ACSP and Cisco CCNA.
- BS Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- 3-6 years relevant work experience.
- Experience supporting Windows XP/7 and Server operating systems.
- Experience with Macintosh OS X (10.4 & upwards) desirable.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems (Red Hat preferable) at a user level.
- Solid knowledge of networks including Ethernet, TCP/IP, and Windows Server networking.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment involves varying shifts Monday through Friday, with each shift lasting 8 hours. Hours can range from 7 am to 12 am. You will work in two-person teams, deploying into the field for drone operations at various sites around the US. Equipment preparation and paperwork occur on-site at the base, while fieldwork involves flying drones at specific locations. Company vehicles are provided for transportation during field operations.

This is a contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
