What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control protocols, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
- Maintain a professional armed presence in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and applicable laws to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, financial service areas, parking areas, and perimeter, noting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Document patrol activity and security-related incidents through accurate reports and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Possession of an armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
