As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Seattle, WA

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. • Wed 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout assigned areas, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and daily observations accurately and maintain a professional presence while interacting with the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
