Security Officer

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Armed Security Officer focused on patrol and emergency readiness for clients in the administrative and support services sector. In this role, you will conduct armed vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies. You will perform emergency readiness checks, support drills, and complete detailed incident reports. Working within a culture of safety, vigilance, and customer service, you'll interact professionally with clients, staff, and visitors while enforcing site procedures and maintaining a visible security presence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and random armed patrols of client properties
• Monitor access points and verify identification of employees and visitors
• Respond quickly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
• Perform emergency readiness checks, drills, and incident reporting
• Enforce site policies, post orders, and safety procedures
• Observe, detect, and report suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Document events and complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Coordinate with site management, law enforcement, and first responders
• Operate security technology such as radios, cameras, and access control systems
• Provide professional customer service to clients, visitors, and staff
