Retail Security Officer

Garda World Security Services U.S. is hiring Retail Security Officers to protect people, property, and assets in busy retail environments. In this field-based role, you provide a visible security presence, conduct patrols, monitor entrances, exits, and sales floors, and respond quickly to incidents and suspicious activity. You will enforce client policies, de-escalate conflicts, and deliver professional, customer-focused service while completing accurate reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible security presence in retail locations to deter theft, violence, and policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sales floors; conduct patrols and observe CCTV where applicable.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and suspicious activity; de-escalate conflicts professionally.
• Enforce store policies and client security procedures while delivering courteous customer service.
• Complete accurate incident, theft, and activity reports in a timely, detailed manner.
• Collaborate with store management and law enforcement when needed to resolve security issues.
• Follow all Garda

• Participate in ongoing training, drills, and briefings to maintain readiness and compliance.
