Diesel Technician - Mobile

Join RWC Group for a Diesel Technician – Mobile role. This position involves truck maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of commercial vehicles on the go, covering all makes and models.

Salary is based on experience and skill level within the $50,000.00–$ per year range.

Position Overview

The MOBILE TECHNICIAN performs truck maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for all makes and models on the road, at customer locations, or anywhere required. A valid driver’s license is required; a CDL is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
  • Read job orders, observe vehicle operation, and resolve malfunctions.
  • Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
  • Inspect protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices, adjusting as needed.
  • Test‑drive vehicles to confirm smooth operation.
  • Tag warranty parts and return them to the warranty clerk.
  • Attend training classes and stay updated on factory technical bulletins.
  • Build positive relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction.
  • Execute all assigned services or repairs per supervisor guidelines.
  • Adhere to safety requirements and published procedures.
  • Participate in technical training assigned by management.
  • Return customer vehicles in a clean condition.
  • Show courtesy to all guests, visitors, and dealership personnel.
  • Strive to achieve production objectives set by management.
  • Perform any additional duties as directed by Service Supervisor or management.
Activity and Knowledge Requirements

  • Self‑motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional conduct at all times.

Employee safety is a top priority. This role is safety‑sensitive and subject to the RWC Drug and Alcohol policy.

Must be able to pass a background check and a pre‑hire drug and alcohol test.
