Job DescriptionProvide general labor support for the USS GABBY GIFFORD at a shipyard. This role is essential for maintaining the operations and efficiency of the shipyard tasks.
Responsibilities- Provide general labor support in a shipyard environment.
- Assist with FW support tasks.
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Participate in safety and training orientation before starting, and complete orientation on the first day.
- At least 1 year of shipyard experience.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Possession of a DBIDS/Green badge.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as a Trades Assistant or in Trade Support is advantageous.
- No specific certifications required.

Work EnvironmentWork in a shipyard environment where safety is prioritized. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats and safety glasses will be provided, but you must supply your own steel toe boots. The role does not require medical monitoring, and you will be part of a structured safety and training orientation process.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
