Senior Facilities Engineer

Overview

This role is ideal for a highly skilled, versatile trades professional who thrives in a hands-on environment. You’ll apply a broad range of technical abilities to support facility operations, maintenance, and repairs across multiple disciplines. The work is dynamic, impactful, and essential to keeping systems and structures functioning at their best.

• Perform a wide variety of work requiring high skill levels and abilities, including but not limited to:
• Electricity and electronics
• Sheet metal work and welding
• Mechanics and machine shop work
• Hydraulics and plumbing
• Painting and ventilation work
• Carpentry and plastering
• Concrete and masonry work
• Ceiling installation and floor installation

• Coursework/Training:
  Must have successfully completed at least two formal specialized, related training courses
• Upon hire:
• National Boiler Operator Grade I License - State County City Trade License Authority --or--
• National Boiler Operator Grade II License - State County City Trade License Authority --or--
• National Boiler Operator Grade III License - State County City Trade License Authority
• 4 years of experience in equipment inspection, testing, repair and maintenance of required systems and equipment

• Solid background in the use of common and sophisticated tools and systems

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
