Service Apprentice Technician

Rite‑Hite Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. Service Technicians act as a technical resource for our customers and our sales force. This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact. As an apprentice, you will spend the majority of your time working closely with a senior Technician, learning our products and our customers and developing the skills needed to work on your own.

• Install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities.
• Serve as a technical resource for customers and the sales force.
• Work independently or in small teams in a field service environment.
• Interact primarily with customers as the main contact.
• Assist in training and development while apprenticing under senior technicians.

• Entry‑level; prior mechanical or electrical experience is helpful.
• Ability to work independently in a field environment.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to drive a company vehicle and pass a pre‑employment drug test, a DOT physical, and maintain a clean driving record.
