** Job Summary*
* CBRE is seeking skilled and reliable  
** Fleet Technicians
** to support technical projects across a growing fleet of trucks, trailers, andvans. This role serves as a  
** frontline field execution resource** ,responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and validating equipment at client sites.

Technicians will perform hands-on work including automotivewiring, installation of vehicle technology, and light mechanical repairs. Thisis a  
** mobile, field-based position** , requiring travel to multiple locations within an assigned region using a company-provided vehicle.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Travel     to fleet and client locations within your assigned region.

+ Perform     on-site installation and configuration of vehicle technology, including     telematics, cameras, sensors, and other systems.

+ Execute     automotive wiring, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting.

+ Conduct     light mechanical work such as equipment mounting, component installation,     and minor repairs.

+ Test     and validate all installed systems to ensure proper functionality and     performance.

+ Follow     established SOPs, safety standards, and quality benchmarks to ensure     consistent execution.

+ Troubleshoot     and resolve technical issues in real time while in the field.

+ Maintain     accurate service documentation, including installation reports, time     tracking, and parts usage.

+ Manage     tools, equipment, and inventory of materials required for installations.

+ Provide     basic on-site guidance or training to stakeholders on installed equipment     when applicable.

+ Identify     and escalate risks, delays, or technical challenges to leadership.

+ Collaborate     with program teams and leadership to support throughput targets and     project timelines.

** Travel & Work Expectations*
* +  
** High     travel role**  (regional coverage with frequent movement between sites).

+ Work     performed at customer locations, fleet yards, and maintenance environments.

+ Flexibility     to support varying schedules, including occasional nights or weekends     based on project demands.

+ Use of     a company-provided vehicle, tools, and equipment.

+ Hands-on     work requiring lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and working in tight or     outdoor environments.

** Qualifications*
* + 2+     years of hands-on experience in  
** fleet service, automotive installation,     field service, or technical roles.*
* + Experience     with  
** automotive wiring, electrical systems, diagnostics, or vehicle     upfitting.*
* + Strong     mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability.

+ Ability     to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation instructions.

+ Comfortable     working independently in fast-paced, field-based environments.

+ Valid     driver's license with a clean driving record.

+ Strong     organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Prior     experience as a technician, mechanic, or engineer working on a variety of     equipment.

+ Experience     working on commercial fleets (trucks, trailers, vans) preferred.

+ Background     in telematics, GPS systems, dash cameras, or fleet technologies.

+ ASE     certification or technical training (preferred but not required).

+ Experience     working within structured SOPs and safety-driven environments.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Field Service Specialist position is $58,905.60 annually [or $28.32 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Field Service Specialist position is $66,500.00 annually [or $31.97per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
