Diesel Technician - Marine

Position Overview

NC Power Systems is seeking a Marine Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing Caterpillar equipment across multiple projects.

• Remove, repair, assemble, and install CAT equipment.
• Coordinate with the Parts department to order necessary parts.
• Plan and organize to assist in controlling job costs.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Degree in diesel technology or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Experience with CAT engines (marine or generator) is preferred.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours a day, including twisting, bending, squatting, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess a basic tool set.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Hourly wage: $26.90 – $56.85 per hour.
