The primary responsibility of the Interior Maintenance Horticulture Technician is to perform landscape maintenance tasks with care and efficiency. In order to ensure the highest level of services are provided, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

• Exceed client expectations by providing professional, courteous, and efficient service at all times.
• Manage assigned client accounts and daily route effectively.
• Provide excellent care and service to client accounts by grooming and trimming plants, probing soil for appropriate moisture levels, cleaning plants with a duster, hand washing and/or spraying as needed, and keeping track of tools on job site.
• Write up special services as needed, so they can be scheduled (large tree trimming, pesticide application, after‑hour cleaning request, large plant material transplanting and replacements).
• Drive in downtown urban areas and maintain a clean vehicle at all times; remove personal items from the vehicle daily.
• Adhere to company maintenance inspection policy, report any and all accidents immediately, and identify plant replacements, creating replacement tickets and installing small replacement plants and flowers as needed.
• Ensure work sites are restored to original or better condition upon departure, with no dirt, moss or debris left behind.
• Maintain positive client relationships, communicate effectively, project a good company image, and maintain a professional appearance and hygiene with a clean uniform.
• Use proper horticultural references, uphold interior service department quality standards, and identify common tropical plants.
• Continue own education by staying informed of industry trends, learning new skills, and asking questions when appropriate.
• Be flexible, use time‑management and organizational skills, and report problems or concerns with equipment and tools immediately.
• Advise manager(s) in a timely manner if additional assistance is needed.
• Drive safely, respect legal speed limits, record working hours accurately and truthfully, and participate in company LEAN activities and maintain areas as assigned.

• Minimum of one (1) year horticultural education or equivalent experience.
• Tropical horticultural background preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record.
