Equipment Repair Technician – Seattle, WA

Work hours:

Monday‑Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm, occasional overtime.

Hourly pay: $28–$30 per hour plus bonus.

Responsibilities
  • Restore and maintain all electric and engine drives.
  • Coordinate assembly of electric, diesel, gas, and propane equipment for rental.
  • Validate and fine‑tune machines to ensure full functionality for rent or sale.
  • Repaint parts, touch up paint, and apply decals to maintain appearance.
  • Replace defective parts and complete preventive maintenance.
  • Source and manage parts to complete repairs.
  • Inspect returned equipment for proper operation and customer damage.
  • Utilize forklift, pallet jack or other equipment to stock parts.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Prepare and complete paperwork for all machine repairs.
  • Occasionally support equipment and customers off‑site.
  • Maintain collaborative communication with branch personnel.
  • Occasionally advise customers on equipment solutions.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Post‑secondary education equivalent to one year technical college or equivalent, valued.
  • Demonstrated mechanical knowledge.
  • Familiarity with positioning equipment, welding applications, and equipment a plus.
  • Experience with SAP or similar software systems.
  • Proficiency operating a computer within Google Workspace.
