Facilities Technician I
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 6:30AM - 3:00PM. Target starting pay: $28.00/hour.
- Perform general repair and maintenance in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, sheetrock repair, flooring, HVAC systems, and refrigeration systems.
- Carry out remodeling and new construction projects as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
- Work independently and as a Facilities team member completing assigned tasks efficiently and timely.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting.
- Carry out any other department duties as assigned by supervisor, such as janitorial, landscaping, and minor vehicle maintenance.
- Required to be on call one week per month.
- Attend and participate in all Mission, Division and Department meetings and training courses as required.
- Any other job‑related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum three years of repair and maintenance experience required.
- Working knowledge of hand and power tool usage and safety.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License and be able to meet the standards of the Mission driver criteria required, including but not limited to:
- Must have an unrestricted License for at least one year.
- No current suspensions or revocations.
- Clean driving record.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and/or walk, balance, twist, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, perform overhead work and reach with hands/arms. Employees frequently work for extended periods of time in indoor and outdoor settings with varying temperature environments. They frequently use judgement and memory to make decisions, occasionally sit and keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, walk, use stairways and climb multiple floors carrying tools and equipment.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
This position is subject to pre‑employment, criminal background check and must be able to pass a 4-panel drug screen.
