Job Description

Pipefitter

  • Applies basic pipe fitting processes to join, surface, fabricate, repair, or replace piping systems (e.g., steel, cuni).
  • Works from blueprints, engineering sketches, charts, or work orders.
  • Uses measuring tools and related equipment to target and fit piping.
  • Sil-brazes cuni pipe.
  • May inspect completed work for conformance to specifications.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Participates in special projects, as required.
Education & Qualifications

Education:

Requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience. Technical or vocational training preferred.

Experience:

1–3 years of related pipe fitting experience.

Required

Certifications:

Braze qual CUNI and copper/face feed.

Compensation & Work Details

Likely hourly rate: $26.35 - $35.65 (based on experience, location, and contractual requirements).
