King County Metro's Vehicle Maintenance Division is seeking a Transit Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse fleet including diesel, hybrid, electric, and trolley buses. The role requires strong technical skills and the ability to keep many vehicles operational.
Safety‑sensitive with drug testing and DOT compliance; 40‑hour workweek with shift differentials. You will use electronic diagnostic tools, perform complex mechanical work, and maintain accurate repair records.
