Utilities Equipment Repairer

If you’re interested in a maintenance career, join the Army National Guard as a Utilities Equipment Repairer and help keep operations running smoothly on and off the battlefield.

• Maintain and repair utilities equipment and special‑purpose support systems
• Inspect, test, and repair electric motors, electrical equipment, and electric instruments
• Replace worn gaskets and seal watertight electrical equipment
• Maintain and repair gasoline engine systems, air‑conditioner electrical and vapor systems, refrigeration unit electrical systems, portable heater fuel/electrical systems, and fire extinguisher recharging systems

The Army National Guard pays you to train. You’ll complete 10 weeks of Basic Training and 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training that includes classroom instruction and field practice, while earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance.
