- Prioritize and coordinate installation, maintenance, and repair of company‑operated primary and secondary voltage electrical systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance.
- Evaluate and correct electrical system issues at upstream and midstream facilities and well sites to maintain critical operations.
- Promote a safe environment and provide direction for the department personnel; follow and support all Pioneer HSE policies and maintain compliance with PNR proactive measures and training requirements.
- Perform or coordinate inspections and, if necessary, upgrade existing electrified sites for electrical safety/code compliance, focusing first on high‑impact sites.
- Ensure all overhead pole lines are inspected within assigned area and coordinate required repairs.
- Verify and inspect work for completeness against PNR specifications; generate and/or close work orders as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor, including special projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent certification (minimum).
- Four (4) years electrical experience required; five (5) years oil and gas experience preferred; one (1) year supervisory experience preferred.
- Journeyman Electrician certification issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) required.
- Good organizational and logistical planning skills for large work projects.
- Ability to diagnose electrical system problems and implement timely solutions.
- Ability to manage contractors and ensure optimum work quality.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- Effective supervisory skills to lead crews, resolve conflict, and schedule personnel and projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- PNR will cover annual licensing fee, required continuing education, and cost of exams.
