Energy Savers Inc. is a well-established weatherization company seeking a qualified crew lead to join our team. We are a family-owned business built on great customer service, quality work, and treating employees like family.
We work from Tacoma to Bellingham servicing multiple government agencies, non-profit companies, and private clients with a focus on upgrading a home's energy efficiency and comfort while improving the health of our customers. The crew lead would work within a small, efficient crew that handles nearly all aspects of the job from ordering materials to post-work diagnostic testing.
Crew Lead Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Implement company and industry safety guidelines
- Order materials
- Work alongside crew members to set work pace
- Inspect and maintain quality of work
- Ensure that jobs are completed on time
- Train employees and monitor crew member’s competency
- Complete all paperwork in a timely manner
- Understand and follow Standard Work Specifications
Crew Lead
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Manage a crew of between 2 and 6 people
- Blower door/diagnostic testing
- Combustion Safety Testing
- Air sealing and duct sealing
- Understanding of thermal and pressure boundaries
- High level understanding of Insulation materials and installation methods
- Moderate level of carpentry skills (Install doors and windows and some rough/finish carpentry)
- Any other construction skills are a plus
- Must be Self-motivated
Preferred Certifications
- CPR/First Aid
- OSHA 10/30
- Lead Safe
- BPI
Pay and Benefits
Starting hourly rate depends on experience and ranges between $33.75-$36.50 per hour. Most jobs include prevailing wages that would be paid at higher rates.
