Carpenter

Location: Seattle, Washington State
Department: Facility Operations
Reports To: Client Facility Manager, Stage 2 FM President
Status & Rate: Part Time (approximately 20 hours/week), [$45 - $55/hr]

Who is Stage 2 Facility Management?

Stage 2 Facility Management is founded on three core ideas: the quality of the spaces we enter shape the way we feel, the people that we share these spaces with shape the way we live, and we can do something to help bring these spaces alive and keep them thriving. We serve single to multi location operations; in other words, we help the childcare center director, the family services team, the nonprofit operations leader, and the community program manager focus on what matters to them: growing their mission, taking care of their people first, and excelling at what they do.

We make sure our clients have a beautiful, functional, and above all a safe space to do what they do best. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, we deliver above and beyond, and we focus on what’s important: helping the dynamic spaces that serve the communities we all care about.

What is the Role?

The Carpenter role handles small construction and repair projects across our clients Washington locations. This is hands‑on work: demoing and removing fixtures, framing and hanging walls, rocking and finishing drywall, and light plumbing to get a space back in service. It is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in clean, code‑conscious work and is comfortable working in and around active childcare and family services environments.

This role works on‑site across our clients locations, with scheduling coordinated around program hours so work stays clear of children where needed. All facility and trade roles at Stage 2 Facility Management are on the ground, in person, and in the spaces we serve.
