Invitation Homes is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair our single-family rental homes. In this field-based role, you'll complete work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and support turns between residents. Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues, ensuring safety and code compliance, and providing professional, resident-focused service. You'll use mobile tools to track work, coordinate with vendors, and support inspections and renovations.

Responsibilities
- Complete resident work orders for maintenance and repairs in single-family rental homes
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
- Support home turns, inspections, and readiness between residents
- Diagnose and troubleshoot building systems and minor structural issues
- Ensure all work meets safety standards, codes, and company quality guidelines
- Use mobile/CMMS tools to receive, document, and close maintenance requests
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs
- Communicate professionally with residents and internal teams to resolve issues
- Assist with emergency on-call rotation and after-hours maintenance needs
- Maintain company tools, vehicles, and inventory in good working order
