Hang It. Finish It. Make It Look Right.Four Tiers Contracting is hiring an experienced Drywall Installer who can handle drywall work from hanging through final finish.
We are looking for someone who knows how to produce clean, professional results without needing constant supervision. You should be comfortable installing board, taping, mudding, sanding, finishing, matching textures, and completing repairs in occupied homes and active remodel environments.
Four Tiers Contracting is a residential general contractor serving the Greater Seattle area. We specialize in remodels, renovations, handyman projects, repairs, and residential improvements.
Our company was founded by two former foster youth with a mission that goes beyond construction. We believe the trades can create independence, confidence, opportunity, and a genuine career path. What You'll Do- Hang and install drywall on residential remodeling, renovation, repair, and improvement projects
- Measure, cut, fit, and fasten drywall accurately
- Install drywall around windows, doors, corners, ceilings, fixtures, and other obstacles
- Tape joints and apply joint compound
- Complete multiple coats of mud as required for a smooth professional finish
- Sand and prepare surfaces for paint
- Perform drywall patches and repairs ranging from small damage to larger replacement areas
- Match and apply common residential wall and ceiling textures
- Blend repaired areas into existing surfaces as cleanly as possible
- Identify uneven framing, damaged surfaces, moisture concerns, or other conditions that may affect the finished result
- Protect customers' homes, flooring, furniture, and surrounding work areas
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Coordinate with carpenters, painters, project leads, and other trades
- Communicate material needs and project concerns before they cause delays
- Maintain company quality standards throughout every stage of the drywall process
- Previous professional drywall installation and finishing experience
- Strong ability to hang, tape, mud, finish, sand, and texture drywall
- Experience with both new drywall installation and residential repair work
- Ability to create smooth, paint-ready finishes
- Experience matching existing wall and ceiling textures
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a crew
- Ability to take accurate measurements and calculate material requirements
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional attitude when working inside customers' homes
- Dependable attendance and reliable communication
- Ability to safely use drywall tools, ladders, lifts, sanders, and related equipment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Based within reasonable commuting distance of the Greater Seattle area
- $30-$40 per hour
