Job Description The University of Washington Medical Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for an HVAC Mechanic to join their trades and facilities team.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
100% FTEDay ShiftPRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Install, modify, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration control systems. UWMC uses Johnson Controls systems and Metasys.

Fabricate and install temperature and humidity controls; assist with system design.

Use specialized tools for repair and calibration.

Manage inventory of control parts and components.

Perform related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of a four-year approved institution course as a Control Technician Trainee; OR four years of applicable experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and pneumatic control systems.

Vocational or trade school training in control mechanisms may be substituted, year-for-year, for work experience up to a maximum of two years.

Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details Pay Range Minimum:$41.19 hourly

Pay Range Maximum:$59.90 hourly
