Field Service Technician

Canon U.S.A. is seeking a Field Service Technician I to support our industry-leading imaging and printing solutions. In this entry-level, field-based role, you will install, maintain, and repair Canon printers, copiers, and related systems at customer sites. You will perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and component replacements while documenting all work accurately. You'll provide hands-on customer training, ensure high equipment uptime, and represent Canon's culture of innovation, quality, and Kyosei-working together for the common good.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test Canon printers, copiers, and imaging systems at customer locations
• Diagnose and repair hardware, mechanical, and connectivity issues in the field
• Perform preventive maintenance, adjustments, and firmware updates to maximize uptime
• Maintain accurate service records, logs, and parts usage in company systems
• Educate customers on proper equipment operation and basic troubleshooting
• Manage vehicle stock and coordinate parts ordering and returns
• Collaborate with technical support and senior technicians to resolve complex issues
• Follow safety, quality, and Canon service standards on every visit
