Millwright​/Maintenance Mechanic

Corliss Resources LLC seeks a skilled Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair crushers, conveyors, mixers, and plant equipment supporting aggregate and ready-mix operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; performing preventive maintenance; welding and fabrication; equipment alignment; and supporting breakdown repairs to minimize downtime. The role requires strict adherence to safety procedures, accurate maintenance documentation, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced, outdoor, construction-materials environment with rotating on-call or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair crushers, conveyors, mixers, and related plant equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime
• Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Complete welding and fabrication tasks for guards, chutes, and structural components
• Align, install, and rig motors, gearboxes, bearings, and rotating equipment
• Follow all safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirements
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment status accurately
• Collaborate with plant operators and supervisors to prioritize repair work
• Support emergency breakdowns, occasional overtime, and on-call coverage
• Assist with continuous improvement of maintenance procedures and reliability
