The Opportunity:

Join a trusted organization in the environmental services industry delivering essential restoration and mitigation solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys solving problems, supporting customers during challenging situations, and leading quality work from initial assessment through completion. You will work alongside a dedicated field team while building expertise across water, mold, fire, smoke, and insurance-related restoration projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support mitigation and environmental restoration projects from initial assessment through completion.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors, project managers, branch leadership, coordinators, and other stakeholders regarding schedules, scope changes, materials, and staffing.
  • Direct a small crew of technicians by providing clear supervision, guidance, coaching, and feedback.
  • Perform restoration tasks including moving contents, completing repairs, taking measurements, recording moisture readings, and using tools and equipment safely.
  • Order and collect materials, maintain the assigned company vehicle, and restock supplies as needed.
  • Complete accurate crew sheets, timecards, job notes, work orders, and supporting documentation for project billing.
  • Conduct or assist with jobsite safety briefings and enforce company policies, industry standards, OSHA requirements, and PPE procedures.
  • Maintain technical knowledge through training while mentoring technicians and supporting their professional development.
Must-Have

Skills:
  • At least 3 years of lead technician experience in construction, restoration, mitigation, or a comparable field-based role.
  • Working knowledge of water mitigation, mold remediation, fire and smoke restoration, and general restoration practices.
  • Valid Class C driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and the ability to remain insurable.
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, restoration equipment, and related jobsite materials.
  • Ability to interpret and apply basic instructions, safety procedures, standard operating procedures, and material safety data sheets.
  • Strong understanding of jobsite safety, including OSHA and EPA requirements, PPE use, hazard communication, and incident reporting.
  • Ability to complete accurate measurements, moisture readings, job notes, timecards, and project documentation.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to lead and support a crew.
  • Ability to pass a respirator physical and obtain a respiratory fit examination.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds with assistance, while performing bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, reaching, and related physical activities.
Nice-to-Have

Skills:
  • Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
  • Industry certifications in restoration, mitigation, environmental services, or related disciplines.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing restoration technicians.
  • Familiarity with insurance restoration documentation and project billing requirements.
  • Experience working in residential, commercial, or industrial restoration environments.
  • Availability to work after hours, weekends, and emergency assignments in a 24/7 operation.
  • Experience attending or supporting safety training, jobsite briefings, and emergency response activities.
