Salary: $34.81 - $41.85/hour

The posted salary reflects the full pay range for this position. Offers made to qualified candidates will be made within this range and will be determined by various factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other factors that would be critical to success in this role.

Position Overview:

The Resident Services Coordinator II supports Bellwether Housing residents by offering available resources and referrals to community members while helping build and maintain a sense of community. This Role will support residents of the Aries at Bitter Lake and Stone Way Apartments, multi-family communities in Seattle’s North Seattle neighborhood, serving a diverse group of residents.

Work Schedule:

Hybrid – 4 days onsite. Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm. The final schedule is to be determined by the supervisor.

Your Impact:
  • Provide comprehensive resources and referrals to residents to help maintain housing stability.
  • Follow up on referrals and services, providing advocacy for resident needs, ensuring that the resident is connected to appropriate, effective services in a timely manner.
  • Respond to crisis situations promptly using de-escalation techniques and a trauma-informed care approach. Initiate action as required, including contact with emergency response systems.
  • Familiarity with working with DCRs/CPS/APS and making appropriate referrals to these agencies.
  • Conduct ongoing outreach to all residents, including visiting residents in their homes as needed.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and privacy of residents and compliance with regulatory requirements. Archive all required forms and case notes securely.
  • Liaise between Bellwether residents and external service agencies. Maintain and facilitate relationships with service agencies, including initiating new partnerships.
  • Inform residents about community resources and services, arrange for on-site events with community partners, and provide ongoing educational and social programming at the building.
  • Distribute newsletters, brochures, and other relevant materials to residents, ensuring that communication accommodates language differences, cultural differences, visual impairments, and other necessary accommodations as required by residents.
  • Relate to others professionally, respecting individual and cultural differences. Work to build cultural competence and understand how cultural background might influence the need for varying approaches with different residents.
  • Collaborate with the Property Manager and other site staff to resolve resident issues.
  • Assist with resident complaints and concerns, escalating them to the Property Manager as needed.
  • Provide robust eviction prevention efforts.
  • Occasionally, travel to other locations to train and collaborate with other Bellwether Resident Services staff.
  • Attend staff and community meetings. Update and share new resources with Bellwether staff and residents as needed.
  • Complete all reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Complete all required training courses each year.
  • Follow Bellwether principles, policies, and procedures while embodying Bellwether values.
Who You Are:
  • 4 years of direct experience providing services to low-income households, people experiencing homelessness, seniors, and/or adults with disabilities, preferably including the provision of information and referral services in a housing setting.
