Position: YouthSource Program Manager (PPM III)

Youth Source at Renton Technical College (RTC) is the King County Children, Youth, and Young Adults Reengagement Center on the Renton Technical College campus. Youth Source at RTC provides case management, education, training, and employment services to young people ages 16-24 years. This position requires a highly skilled leader who can lead a team of Social Service Professionals, Instructors, and community partner staff while providing excellent customer service to young people ages 16-24 years.

This position will require skills working within a post-secondary environment, familiarity with the student transition from secondary to post-secondary programming, and the various supports available at the college. This position will also be responsible for the billing and reporting, and should be very knowledgeable regarding the state and local requirements for Open Doors.

WORK SCHEDULE/

CONDITIONS:

This is a Special Duty Assignment (SDA) or Term-Limited Temporary (TLT) position anticipated to end 24 months from the start date, but subject to change dependent on operational need. This position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is not eligible for overtime. Typical hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. This position is represented by Protec

MISSION CRITICAL POSITION STATUS:

This position has been designated Non-Mission Critical. Unless otherwise directed by the County Executive, department director or agency head, all employees, regardless of designation, are expected to report to work or request leave during an emergency or inclement weather. TELEWORKING

REQUIREMENT:

DCHS works in a hybrid model, with days in the office as well as telecommuting. The ratio of remote to onsite work will be dependent on business needs and is subject to change. The primary onsite location is Renton Technical College, 3000 NE 4th St., Renton, WA 98056.

Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
