Client Services Navigator
This is a bargaining unit position represented by the OPEIU. All terms and conditions of employment are subject to change in accordance with a collective bargaining agreement.
WORK SCHEDULE: This full-time, regular, non-exempt position is based onsite and may require work during days, evenings, nights, weekends, and at alternate work locations. Standard business hours are generally 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This position is on-site, client-facing, and non-remote.
ABOUT ISIS AT STRALEY HOUSE: ISIS at Straley House is a transitional living program serving young adults experiencing homelessness and housing instability. Operated as part of Youth Care, the program provides a safe, inclusive, and affirming residential environment where residents are supported through stable housing, individualized service planning, life skills development, and community connections that promote long-term stability and independence. ISIS is designed to support LGBTQIA+ young adults while welcoming eligible residents who are affirming allies and comfortable living in a queer-focused environment.
The program's approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, cultural responsiveness, community-building, and individualized support.
COLLABORATION WITH CENTRALIZED CLIENT SERVICES TEAM: This position works in close collaboration with the Centralized Client Services (CCS) team to support coordinated service delivery, housing navigation, referrals, and access to community-based resources for residents. While the role is housed within ISIS at Straley House and supervised by program leadership, it partners closely with CCS staff to strengthen service planning, housing support, cultural needs planning, and overall coordination of care.
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Program Manager - ISIS, the Client Services Navigator provides direct, trauma-informed services to residents at ISIS at Straley House, with a focused caseload of up to 20 residents. This position supports housing stabilization, individualized service planning, life skills development, cultural needs planning, and transition planning for young adults working toward greater stability and independence.
In addition to direct service responsibilities, the Client Services Navigator supports the Program Manager in strengthening program structure through the coordination of life skills programming, structured resident activities, service schedules, planning tools, and consistent service delivery processes. Primary responsibilities include assessment, individualized service planning, housing navigation, Coordinated Entry for All (CEA) referrals and nominations, connection to community resources, and support with the creation and facilitation of life skills lessons, workshops, and resident programming.
This position works in a multidisciplinary environment and collaborates closely with program leadership, Engagement Specialists, and the Centralized Client Services (CCS) team to support coordinated care, resident engagement, affirming practice, and timely follow-through on service goals. While primarily assigned to ISIS at Straley House, this role may also support life skills programming, structured activities, planning tools, and service coordination practices across Youth Care Housing programs when assigned and in alignment with program needs.
The Client Services Navigator helps residents work toward stable housing, education, employment, health, and independent living while also supporting overall program consistency through structured schedules, planning tools, and coordinated support. The role requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, flexibility, and the ability to build effective working relationships in support of young adults in crisis as they work toward stability and permanent housing.
