Case Manager

Position Overview

Clackamas Women’s Services (CWS) is hiring a Housing Case Manager to join a heart‑centered, culturally responsive team providing emergency, transitional, and long‑term support and services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. The role supports survivors in securing stable housing and coordinating services with community partners.

• Complete Coordinated Housing Assessment paperwork and Diversion Packets.
• Prepare and submit all required housing paperwork, including income verification, rental assistance calculations, utility allowances, rent reasonableness, and inspection reports.
• Assist participants in accessing other housing programs (Section8, CHA, etc.) and maintain active waitlists.
• Advocate for participants, provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and home visits.
• Support participants with budgeting, financial empowerment, domestic violence education, parenting education, physical and mental health, and immigration or court related services.
• Organize and provide transportation in the agency vehicle when needed.
• Attend housing community meetings, represent CWS at community events, and maintain positive relationships with community partners.
• Track participants’ intake and orientation appointments, ensuring documentation is complete.
• Advise and collaborate with the Housing Program Manager on waitlist follow‑up.
• Compete finance request forms for approved housing funds and any unique payments.
• Cooperate with other CWS staff and follow assigned duties as requested.

• Minimum of two years’ experience working in domestic‑violence/sexual‑assault programs.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing housing services.
• Readiness to support survivors of domestic or sexual violence and cultivate an understanding of systemic oppression.
• Ability to work effectively and non‑judgmentally with diverse populations and deliver culturally competent services.
• Enthusiasm for collaborative work with public and private systems.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Clackamas County and the Greater Portland Area.
• Strong bilingual/bicultural candidates encouraged.
• Complete 40hours of domestic‑violence advocacy training before commencing duties.

• Salary: $27.00–$30.25 per hour (DOE, plus differential for bilingual skills).
