Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a Software Development Manager – myBLDR
to be part of revolutionizing these industries.

Our Software Development Teams work on a variety of projects, focusing on designing and enhancing our Builder Omni product. Your goal is to help grow and lead a team of developers. You’ll ensure team knowledge and performance while keeping them focused on roadmap priorities and quality development. You will empower our team to deliver high quality solutions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other front-end developers, Systems Consultants, product analyst, product managers, QA, and customers in an agile environment.

What You Will Do:
  • You will hire, train, mentor, coach & retain Software Developers on our product team.
  • You will identify, define & build processes that improve the quality, delivery, risk management and cost-management of the team.
  • You will provide leadership and department vision. You will coordinate daily standups with your team.
  • You will be responsible for leading grooming discussions & development discussions with your team.
  • You will problem solve. Which may include getting the right developers on the right problems. You will provide guidance on technical solutions & level or effort estimates.
  • You will participate in the code review process and course correct code, so we have consistent quality development practices and output.
  • You will lead initiatives to improve processes and tools used for development.
  • You will be responsible for creating, documenting, and driving adoption of best practices for product development.
  • You will lead resource scheduling for both current and planned.
  • You may have the opportunity to monitor and apply current and future technology and design principles to improve organizational projects and systems architecture.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in related field or an equal amount of related professional experience
  • You have 5+ years of experience in software development building websites and/or web applications.
  • You will have at least 3+ years’ experience in people management
  • You can adapt to changing demands and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • You have proven teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills
  • You have critical thinking, including creative development skills, requirements analysis capabilities, and proven problem-solving skills
