We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend / Full Stack) to design and scale the systems that power our identity verification and account protection platform. You’ll work across the stack – from APIs and databases down to user interfaces – helping shape how morn millions of people prove who they’re online. This isa hands‑on, high‑impact expiolret where you’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering leaders to build secure, reliable, and delightful experiences.

Backend & Systems Design

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Manage database schema design, migrations, and performance optimization.
• Build and refine authentication, authorization, and data protection systems.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and the overall technical roadmap.

Full Stack Development

• Collaborate with design and product to build responsive, secure, and user‑friendly web interfaces.
• Develop internal tools, dashboards, and supporting applications that improve developer and customer workflows.
• Ensure seamless integration between front‑end and backend services.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with product, design, and Dev Ops to deliver impactful, customer‑focused solutions.
• Review code, mentor peers, and help raise the technical bar across the team.
• Champion best practices in testing, deployment, and observability.

• Languages & Frameworks: Strong experience with backend languages such as Node.js, Go, or Python; plus proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React or Vue.js).
• Databases: Skilled with relational databases (Postgre

• APIs: Proven track record designing and implementing RESTful or Graph
  
  QL APIs.
• Cloud & Dev Ops: Hands‑on experience with AWS (Lambda, RDS, Cloud Formation) or similar platforms.
• Security: Familiarity with authentication standards (OAuth, SAML) and secure coding best practices.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and success working on remote, cross‑functional teams.
• Education: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

The base salary range for this full‑time position is $120,000 to $190,000, plus equity and benefits.
