Senior Software Engineer

Job Duties

• Use different object-oriented programming languages to build performant and scalable backend applications in a cloud-based microservice architecture.
• Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product.
• Help translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions.
• Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment.
• Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies.
• Implement new features based on the design documents.
• Engage in code review to maintain and improve code quality, learning from senior engineers.
• Attend weekly 24x7 on-call rotation and address system issues timely.

Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and six (6) months of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

Full-time telecommuting is an option. Remote work is not available from Hawaii or Alaska.
