Overview

Summary The Apple Services Engineering (ASE) team drives high-performance, secure end-to-end solutions powering Search for the App Store, Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Apple Books. These engineers deliver a wide variety of entertainment in over 35 languages to more than 150 countries, building the software, tools, server-side systems, and APIs that support Apple services. The teams work to balance hardware, software, and services with a strong commitment to privacy, operating in a small, nimble, multi-functional structure that offers exposure to many opportunities.

• 5+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer
• Experience with API design and framework development
• Proficiency with Swift
• Experience in distributed computing, microservices architecture, and server-side technologies
• Experience with cloud-native deployment (e.g., AWS) and with continuous integration and continuous delivery; able to demonstrate creativity, initiative, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of working independently and/or in small teams; passion for building high-quality user experiences with attention to detail
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

At Apple, base pay is one part of the total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $210,100 and depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary employee stock programs and to purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
