• Envision, collaborate with executives, and drive the software design and development for new major data‑plane components.
• Define the foundations for next‑generation OCI data‑planes, making deep architectural changes and advocating best practices.
• Lead large, cloud‑scale projects and act as a technical mentor and builder within the engineering division.
• Perform professional software development tasks, including designing, coding, debugging, and deploying system‑level software.
• Champion simplicity, scalability, and operational excellence in a fast‑moving, agile environment.

• 5+ years of relevant engineering, architecture, or development/operational experience.
• Strong experience in C/C++ (preferred) or Rust (preferred).
• Proficiency with high‑concurrency systems and low‑level performance‑critical design.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Linux kernels, device drivers, performance testing and debugging tools, and high‑performance distributed storage.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to influence cross‑team processes.
• Experience with geographically distributed teams and fast‑paced, startup‑style environments.
• Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts and technologies.
