Responsibilities

You will own the full development lifecycle—technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch—while collaborating closely with a motivated team to define standards that streamline developer workflows.

• Collaborate cross‑functionally to execute product and business strategy.
• Develop novel products and features for the payments platform.
• Own the end‑to‑end development cycle: design, implementation, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
• Review code and design documents, and provide feedback on product specs and mocks.
• Improve developer workflows and recommend best practices.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a BE engineer (Go/Python/Rust/Ruby) – 2 past years with primary focus towards Python.
• Go experience is a great plus
• Knowledge of basic datastore technologies (cassandra, Redis, postgres)
• Experienced with Graph
  
  QL, REST, HTTP, Thrift, gRPC and the ability to design and implement maintainable APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL
• Familiarity with unit testing and other automated testing

Overlap:full overlap with PST time zone
