BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, Power Shell, Ruby
- Proven track record of delivering software systems in production environments
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
- Experience building and operating software systems that meet business goals and operational requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience

- Experience with AI-native software development practices and leveraging AI tools for productivity gains (e.g., Amazon Kiro, Amazon Q Developer, Amazon Code Whisperer, Cline, Wasabi)

- Experience with AI/ML capabilities in software systems

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and building scalable distributed systems
- Knowledge of flow optimization, theory of constraints, or manufacturing/industrial systems

- Experience with partner integrations and enterprise software systems

- Experience with robotics systems, autonomous agents, or industrial automation
- Ability to balance competing interests between time, quality, and resources
- Ability to work backwards from customer needs to define appropriate solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with ability to clearly present technical concepts

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
