Responsibilities- Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable systems, services, and APIs across multiple domains.
- Lead complex system design, including low‑level design, API design, and data modeling for high‑impact projects.
- Drive technical direction and deliver solutions that leverage AI/ML concepts to enhance product capabilities and outcomes.
- Champion engineering best practices for quality, security, and operational excellence at scale.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver end‑to‑end technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with AI‑driven tools and workflows.
- Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience.
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated ownership of services, multi‑service systems, or domain‑level technical initiatives.
- Excellent coding skills in C++ and experience working in large C++ codebases.
- Familiarity with AI‑driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real‑world products.
- Experience architecting and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Demonstrated leadership in designing and integrating AI/ML‑enabled solutions that improve business and customer outcomes.
- Deep knowledge of data‑driven development practices and operational excellence in production environments.
- Track record of driving architectural innovation and delivering solutions across multiple technical domains.
- Advanced understanding of AI/ML lifecycle management and safe integration practices for machine learning capabilities.
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $ to $. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
