Summary
Partner Engineering is a highly technical team that works with our strategic partners to integrate Meta products into their platforms, apps, devices, Connected TVs as well as our VR/AR platforms. Partner Engineers bring technical knowledge of Mobile/Desktop/Connected TV platforms to lead highly visible initiatives and launch impactful products with our strategic partners. You will engage with some of the world's most influential companies to drive Meta family of apps' compatibility and quality on partner’s Connected TVs & platforms, internally with our Product team to enhance those apps, pushing new experiences forward by integrating partner apps and services on Connected TVs.
You will be directly involved in helping drive feature innovation at the platform and app level, while also supporting app release and compliance, across the Meta family of apps on Connected TVs. You will combine technical and business skills to make our partners successful and improve Meta apps quality on their devices.
Partner Engineer, Connected TV Responsibilities
Improve the quality of Meta apps on our partners' latest Connected TVsCollaborate with external partners, internal Engineering and Product partners on Connected TVsIdentify and surface insights using metrics on product usage to increase adoption and provide new solutions that address the needs of our partnersUse tools, concepts and processes related to Meta family of apps, and underlying implementation across Connected TVsUse broad range of technical and soft skills to build productive relationships with our partners, and resolve complex technical and business needs while contributing to partner documentationUse expertise and product insight to deliver high‑quality project/integration/ partner engagements, while sustaining productivityGuide workflow changes, and gain consensus from stakeholders while driving to solutionRespond and maintain effective communication with industry partners and internal stakeholdersBuild and manage working relationships with technical counterparts. Mentor and share knowledge with peers, setting & meeting meaningful goals amongst teamWork with partners to develop a long‑term strategic plan, grounded on business objectives, and manage partners during feature launchesUnderstand organizational structure and cross functional team dynamics and get support from those teams as neededMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of relevant industry experience - software engineering or partner engineeringB.A/B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experienceExperience building applications on Connected TVs by Web technologiesSoftware development experience in languages and environments such as C#, Java, C++, React Native and/or PythonExperience to take on complex and ambiguous problemsPreferred Qualifications
Proven experience in communication, analytical, collaboration, and problem‑solving skillsExperience building Connected TV applications by React NativeExperience with backend developmentDemonstrated experience of working with other software developersExperience communicating with external partiesExperience communicating in English fluently and idiomaticallyPublic Compensation
$149,000/year to $210,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
