Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer
AWS Training and Certification (T&C) is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join our engineering team. Our mission is to accelerate cloud adoption by helping millions of individuals and organizations build and validate their AWS skills. The T&C platform powers digital training, classroom delivery, practice exams, and certification programs that serve learners across the globe — and you'll be at the center of building the technology that makes it all possible.

- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure services and features
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Own operational excellence for your team's services, including on-call responsibilities
- Participate in system design, code reviews, and architectural discussions
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, performance issues, and technical debt
- Contribute to team processes, mentoring, and engineering best practices
- Work across the stack (front-end, back-end, infrastructure) as needed
We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer to design, build, and operate services that support the AWS Training and Certification ecosystem. You’ll work across the full stack, owning features end-to-end—from requirements through deployment and operations. You’ll collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and partner engineering teams to deliver solutions that delight learners worldwide.
Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
