Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center.
As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting‑edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
The Simulation Integrations team owns the integration of Simulation products into the Lattice ecosystem. We’re the bridge between Anduril's high‑fidelity simulation engine and the production services that power Lattice, enabling simulated entities, sensors, and autonomy to participate in the same world as live assets.
ABOUT THE JOBYou will build the foundational service that bridges our high‑fidelity robot simulations with our live production services. This is the engine that will power next‑generation capabilities, including wargaming and complex live‑virtual constructive (LVC) exercises, all while simplifying the provisioning of synthetic environments to enable greater adoption. As a core member of the team, you will have a high degree of ownership over the entire product lifecycle.
Our work spans the full stack, from understanding network infrastructure and Kubernetes deployments to building services and crafting database schemas and APIs.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Architect, build, and operate a highly‑available backend service in Golang
- Own the deployment and management of the service on Kubernetes, containerized with Docker
- Design and implement robust gRPC, and Web Socket APIs for real‑time communication between virtual and live systems
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues in a distributed system, especially around latency, availability, and concurrency
- Collaborate on product decisions to shape the future of our simulation platform
- Hands‑on expertise with Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment
- Strong experience with API design, particularly with gRPC
- Proficiency with databases (e.g., Postgres)
- A proven ability to debug and optimize for performance and availability in distributed systems
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
- Professional experience building production services in Golang
- Familiarity with maintaining CI/CD infrastructure as well as logging, metrics, and alerting for live services
- A solid grasp of networking fundamentals
$191,000 – $253,000 USD
