Amazon Cloud Front is a content delivery service that securely delivers data, videos, applications, and APIs to customers globally with low latency and high transfer speeds in a developer-friendly environment. Our customers use Cloud Front for fast and secure delivery of web/content, on-demand video/music streaming, and live events streaming. Our team writes software that handles millions of transactions per second and exabytes of data transfer.

Our core focus is to be operationally indistinguishable from perfect and to build and operate a secure Internet.

We are looking for an engineering leader for Cloud Front in Seattle, USA to innovate and solve the hardest problems in scale, security, availability, and performance. This leader will oversee all aspects of the service experience: operational excellence, software design and build, and delivering on customer performance and scale expectations. The role requires the ability to directly guide and manage junior and senior engineers, with a focus on operational and engineering excellence.

• Lead and scale multiple engineering teams (30-50+ engineers) delivering Cloud Front's core content delivery network services, ensuring high availability, low latency, and global performance at massive scale
• Define and execute multi-year technical strategy and roadmap for Cloud Front features, balancing customer needs, business priorities, and technical excellence while driving innovation in edge computing and content delivery
