Software Development Engineer in Test; SDET

Responsible for automation, bug fixing and to solve software problem. Should be able to do root cause analysis and recommending test coverage and best practice.

• Develop automation framework for application testing (mobile or web)
• Debug codebase to assess the root cause of test failure, code review and suggest appropriate solution
• Perform Test Automation and set up frameworks on multiple application platforms like Web, Mobile and Desktop
• Able to find bottlenecks and threshold in existing code with the help of automation tools
• Create & manage bug reports and communicate with the team
• Able to build different test scenarios and acceptance tests
• Handle technical communications with multiple teams
• Work with deployments teams and integrate test suite in CI / CD pipeline.

• 7+ years of experience in testing as SDET, must be able to write Automation scripts.
• 5+ years’ experience with test method & tools like selenium, Katalon, PACT, Selenium Webdriver/GRID/IDE
• 5+ years of experience in performing various testing like (Integration, Regression, Database, system, Data verification and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• 5+ years of experience working in Devops Agile methodology
• Hands on experience and good knowledge on soa architectures such as SOAP and REST, OOP languages like core Java
• Hands on expertise in Bug Reporting, Bug Tracking using Rally and JIRA
• Well versed in Webservices and API testing using Soap UI tool for both soap and REST services
• Performed SQL query executions in Database as a part of backend Data verifications and test case data setup
