About the Role
Senior Software Development Engineer on the High Value Send Experience team. Build systems that earn the trust of high‑value senders moving large transfers for real estate, education, long‑term investments, and other milestones.
You Will:- Champion the customer experience by using signals, product instincts, and data to inform technical decisions.
- Lead technical design and architecture for complex systems that power the High Value Send experience, translating ambiguous green‑field problems into clear technical strategies and measurable outcomes.
- Ship reliable, observable, and scalable systems across web, mobile, and backend services that meet strict availability and latency SLOs.
- Operate AI‑natively, using tools as force‑multipliers for development, spec drafting, prototyping, or validation.
- Partner with product, design, analytics, and partner engineering teams to translate goals into scalable solutions for a diverse global customer base.
- Strengthen engineering culture by mentoring teammates, leading technical discussions, providing code‑review feedback, and advocating best practices in coding, testing, and system design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience building and operating end‑to‑end systems.
- Experience building customer‑facing experiences at product scale with Type Script, React, and native mobile development (iOS/Android, React Native).
- Proficiency in one or more modern backend languages such as Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python, with a record of delivering production‑quality code.
- Experience designing and building distributed, large‑scale systems with an understanding of service‑oriented or microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including familiarity with managed services.
- Use of AI tools in software development workflow (authoring agents, drafting specs, prototyping, validating concepts).
- Bonus:
Experience in Fin Tech, payments, or regulated industries where reliability, security, and compliance shape engineering decisions.
Starting base salary range: $180,000–$225,000. Equity is part of the total compensation plan. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid parental leave, mental health & family forming benefits, ESPP, and continuing education and travel benefits.
