Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Our Media & Entertainment client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design and build secure, scalable, and high-performance systems that power the client's technology ecosystem.

• Contribute to building core backend services that support critical infrastructure and applications used across a diverse portfolio.
• Contribute to architectural design.
• Cross-team collaboration and coordination.
• Work on systems that require thoughtful design, robust implementation, and close integration with internal platforms and services.
• Participate in foundational engineering work that supports millions of users and enables secure, reliable, and automated operations across a wide range of environments.

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Personal projects is a must - shareable links, published papers or patents, etc.
• Proven experience architecting and implementing complex, distributed systems.
• Demonstrated success delivering highly available, mission-critical services in production environments.
• Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages.
• Hands‑on experience with modern architectural paradigms such as microservices, event-driven systems, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Skilled at producing architectural artifacts, including system diagrams, technical documentation, and design decision records.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns and system design principles, with the ability to both apply best practices and critically assess them when needed.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with a preference for AWS experience.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Remote.

• The approximate pay range for this position is between $60.00 and $85.00.
• Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans.
