Our Software Development Engineers (SDEs) use modern technology to solve complex problems while seeing their work's impact first‑hand. We seek individuals passionate about creating new products, features, and services while managing ambiguity in an environment where development cycles are measured in weeks, not years.

• Own team‑level architecture and design for a major product area; deliver features spanning the full software lifecycle
• Solve complex problems with multiple constraints; apply judgment in trade‑offs between short‑term delivery and long‑term maintainability
• Partner with product, science, and cross‑team engineering on specification, decision modeling, and integration contracts
• Lead design reviews and provide constructive direction on code and design to engineers at multiple levels
• Drive cross‑team coordination and ensure the team's product integrates cleanly with upstream and downstream systems

• 5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
